Floating Melodies Adelaide

Taste. See. Hear. Escape.

Have a brief affair with some of South Australia’s finest cultural elements all in one experience.

Floating Melodies Adelaide is a truly unique celebration, a little like a soirée with sightseeing. Originally set only on The Popeye, Adelaide’s local iconic River Torrens cruiser, Floating Melodies is an hour cruise taking in the riverbank by day or the city lights reflected on the water by night. After its 100th cruise on the Popeye in June 2018, Floating Melodies is expanding to other water vessels across South Australia.

Being on the water creates such a serenity and it is here you will be entertained by local live musicians. Floating Melodies brings you a range of differently themed cruises throughout the year. Yes, even in winter! If that is not enough you also get to savour specifically chosen local produce matched with wine from South Australia’s world renowned regions; or enjoy a locally brewed beer, cider, soft drink or juice. For always supporting locally, we were a recipient of a 2016 Silver Tourism Award from the South Australian Tourism Industry.

Floating Melodies has also been a part of many festivals including the OzAsia Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Adelaide Food & Wine Festival, French Festival, Cellar Door Festival and Tasting Australia and was created originally as a fundraising event in 2013!

Floating Melodies is an Emma Knights Productions event.
