Come along and bare your heart with this special Floating Melodies event. Celtic singer/harpist, Siobhan Owen, will perform a selection of Celtic songs, mesmerising the audience with ethereal vocals and delicate harp playing.
Siobhan was born in Wales to a Welsh father and Irish mother. She graduated from Elder Conservatorium of Music (Official Page) with a Bachelor of Music – Performance and Pedagogy (Classical Voice) in 2014. Siobhan also performs as a Celtic singer/harpist. A popular performer in Australian Folk/Celtic festivals since the age of 14, Welsh-born Siobhan has developed a distinctively unique vocal style by blending her ethereal soprano voice with heart-wrenching Celtic lilts – thus gaining her popularity on the international stage. Based in the UK for the whole of 2015 while touring Europe, Japan and Siberia, Siobhan recorded two songs for BBC TV’s “Songs of Praise” and also recorded her fifth studio album, to be released at the end of March 2016.
